It's hard to believe that it's been three weeks since we collected Alex from Elaine's.... Alex had a trip to see an orthopaedic specialist this morning - sadly there is no surgical miracle for his foot, the injury is too old. The good news is that it seems to have improved slightly over the last month and his foot is much more functional than expected. We have a management plan so watch this space! In the meantime, he is soooo happy to be home in his safe nest - he's sighing with contentment. He is slowly slowly getting over his fears - every tiny step feels like a massive victory :-)

Hi Sue,
Its so nice to see and hear how Alex is doing.
As they say a happy hound and a roaching hound.

It is so nice to see Alex doing so well, and he looks so very relaxed now.
I bet he will be one very spoilt doggie this Christmas, and quite rightly so.
Thanks for the update.
Much love

A little tip for the winter months you may want to try that I always do for Ollie, and that is that I put his winter coat over the radiator so it is nice and warm for him when we go out. I can't have the little monkey put on a cold coat....another example of one spoilt dog! Lol

He looks wonderful, Sue and so relaxed! Hope to meet him one day. So glad that he is able to use his foot more than you had anticipated and great that there's been some improvement. Brennan & Willow send him licks and tail wags!
