Hi everyone
Further to my earlier post, the manager at Pets at Home is asking when we can cover. As above, I don't feel able to do all day of the weekends in December. So Tony & I can do:
Saturday 5th morning Sunday 6th- 11-3
Sunday 13th 11-3
Saturday 19th am Sunday 20th am
Is anyone able to cover some of the other times on Saturdays & Sundays in December? I said I'll let her know.
I expect Kim needs the information, so her mum can make lots of (extremely delicious) cakes that we can sell!

Hi Sue,
I'm happy to help when you to be there before or take over. What time do you get there on weekends? Happy to do next Sat afternoon as a starter. Jimmy is ready with his Christmas hat. Caz. Xxxxx

Hi Sue
If it's OK will cover Saturday 12th with Darcy and Roma. Do they want cover between Christmas and New Year?

Thanks very much, Caz & Ian.
Caz, We'll probably get there on saturday at around 9:30 am, until about 1:45, so covering the afternoon would be really great. Look forward to seeing you again and your dad's lovely hound!
Ian I'll ask Kim if they want cover after Christmas, will let you know.
If you could tell me roughly how long you'll cover on the 12th, I'll also let Kim know, as her mum is going to make cakes (they are wonderful and I'm not really a cake eater!)
thanks again

Another good day a Pets at Home. The dogs were brilliant took it all in their stride ,loving all the fuss made of them. It took half an hour for the dogs to settle which if you know Darcy is a long time for him to stay awake. well done dogs what brilliant adverts for greyhounds you are. Roma meanwhile almost managed to capture a small kennel hand. I should add I did get permission from the young lady's parents to take the photograph. Ian

That's great, Ian, well done!
But despite the indignity of wearing Xmas hats and tinsel they did their bit in showing people what great dogs they really are. And of course even lying down all day, when they got home they were totally exhausted! Only with greyhounds!

That's great Katie. To be honest I am so behind with everything this year it would be nice to try and grab a bit of time to do a little bit for Christmas! (although getting the energy is another thing altogether!)
Hope to see you there on saturday.
Ian, thank you, we'll get there for just after opening (10.30) and put in a few hours and can stay until you arrive.

My thanks to Pets at home for their hospitality and letting us show off our dogs this month. I have attached a picture of Nellie, Brennan, Darcy and Roma hard at work on Sunday. They were all impeccably behaved and settled into the task of showing how laid back hounds can be. This was especially impressive when you see what was behind them. As you can see the rabbits were relaxed, feeding and not worried at all. The brown rabbit you can see on the box ran over to say hello to a passing brindle Staff so they must be used to dogs being around. A fair few leaflets were given out so hopefully we may see some dogs go home in the new year - fingers crossed. Ian

Thanks, Ian. As usual all the hounds appear comatose, apart from Roma!
