A new apron for day 2: The greyhoundhomer justgiving page is here and doing well, wonderful seeing the generosity of a mix of Greyhound owners and Boaters. Love the caption from Max Greyhound to one of the photos: Hound food porn *drools* . . . . I think we all know about greys drooling over food! The other charity Sue is supporting is a Pharmacy Charity, that is still looking a bit sad but here is the link.

And now hot out of the oven: Carrot Cookies (low calorie, but they look so yummy!) Sweet potato and carrot cookies (such a beautiful colour) Minty Mouthfuls (breath freshening - but no promises!) Rasberry and Blueberry Delights (I was so tempted by these - they smell wonderful) Golden Wonders (deliciously cunchy morsels of vegie goodness) That's 1125 treats so far. Ty was looking like a bit thin, doubt if that is still the case, quality control being so important! Fund raising pages are here: www.justgiving.com/sue-cook6/ and here www.justgiving.com/sue-cook7/

They look lovely. J.D is licking his lips at the pictures. I`m sure he can smell them from here, he can sniff a treat out at 10 paces. Loving the outfit Sue.

Sue's done it! 30 years a pharmacist 30 hours baking 30 different recipes 1,766 individual dog treats! There’s still time to donate here for Greyhoundhomer or here for the pharmacy charity All these treats will be for sale tomorrow, Saturday, in Nutfield Memorial Hall on the A25 just outside Redhill, along with some wonderful human cakes (baked by friends), Sue's home-made jam, cream teas, fantastic coffee and a bit of bric-a-brac to browse – come along if you can, good dog walking from the hall! Sue's now busy getting her blood alcohol level correct whilst standing over some of day 3's production:

My dear friends and helpers
What a magnificent group of people you are - we had such a lovely day at the bake sale, wonderful to see so many people and dogs enjoying their cream teas on the terrace - and the dog treats went down a storm.
So now for the final accounting:
Although we didn't have a great numbers of people at the bake sale, we obviously had great quality, as we raised £373 - add that to the sponsorship and my bakeathon and bake sale has raised......drumroll......
£963 - wow!
Twice my wildest dream estimate! ....and I've heard whispers that the total may get topped up a round £1,000!
I'll split the proceeds of the sale between my two charities which means that:
£707 will go to the Retired Greyhound Trust - Greyhoundhomer £256 will to Pharmacist Support
Thank you so much for donating, encouraging, baking and selling - because of you, I consider my 30 years as a pharmacist truly celebrated!!

I've had a few last minute donations so the total for Greyhoundhomer is now £740- wow! I've overwhelmed, especially as my original target was £200!!!!
Overall, the bakeathon and bake sale has raised £1,290, with the lion share going to Greyhoundhomer - whoo hoo!
Thank you all for your support and encouragement - people are already saying "when you do the next one..."
Hmmmm, not yet!
