Cara is exhausted having spent the day on PR duty, meeting and greeting the good people of Woburn who visited the CCC craft fair. She was treated like royalty, the ladies in the kitchen fed her beef and ham slices as a treat, people were queing up to take her for a comfort break......even when she didn't want to go. Finally, she took took a leaf out of Darcy's book and just conked out. I haven't told her yet that she got a repeat booking next month.

Ahh, well done Cara, what a good girl, just wished I lived closer. I would have loved seeing you being such a great PR girl. Fred and Lily

Hi Fred
Hope you can make it to Stifford this year -perhaps we can meet up then.
We will be at the event at The Hemel Hempsted School, a mere 4 junctions on the M1!

Hi Pat, if only I could drive, I can only come to Stifford if my family are kind enough to bring me, I did so enjoy my day there the year before last, I have Lily's rosettes stuck on her portrait on the wall. Hope you and your doggie gang are well. Fred

Well done Cara, and of course Pat!! Love the fact people were queuing up to take her for a comfort break, even when she didn't need one!

Hi Pat We live in Watford with our 3 greyhounds, one of which came from Dunton and have just seen all the events you have organised. Are they Meet & Greet type things or just for humans to come along with cash to spend? Heather

Hi Heather
Woburn Village Hall is the only venue where I am allowed to take Cara - promoting Greyhoundhomer is great. On display are eco friendly and handmade cards, the official collection tin, handouts, booklets and signage but it does help to have backup which Cara does brilliantly - she is certainly a crowd puller. I was cheeky and asked if I could bring a hound and they said yes.
All the other venues are dog free (health and safety).
People are very generous, there is something about a greyhound which touches their heart and many people who don't buy a card, put money in the tin.
Thanks for your interest.
Pat S
