Horndon & Ockendon shows this weekend

Just a note to thank everyone for their help over this weekend. We did 2 shows the Horndon Feast and Fayre, and the dog show at St Nicholas's church, Ockendon. We were made incredibly welcome at both events, and the dogs got loads of fuss. Lots of interest in the dogs, and some nice money raised, so thanks to Pia, Sue, Tony, Dave, Michael, Sally, Emma and Andrew.
Next event is the Southend, 'All About Dogs Show' next Saturday and Sunday, and with a dog show to run both days we really need all the help we can get, so if you have some spare time, we'd love to see you, as ever all money raised goes directly to the care of our dogs awaiting rehoming.

The Horndon Feast and Fayre was brilliant and a lot of good contacts made. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see one or more hounds rehomed as a result. Ted and Kia had a whale of a time. Ted, as usual, scoured the entire event for free food and was quite successful whereas Kia, who was only attending her third event, finally lay down and went to sleep in public! She's getting the idea!
