TIME CHANGE DUE TO HOT WEATHER Hi All, Due to the hot weather remaining for the next few weeks to avoid any over heating greyhounds (or humans) I have moved the walk forward to 1030am. As before all breeds are welcome. Bring lunch and dog treats See you all there! Pia & Lurch

Ted is really up for this walk - even went to the groomers for some 'spa treatment'!! I think he has amorous intentions, so watch out lady hounds!!!!

Hi all, we'd like to join you too if that's ok. We are in Grays but haven't taken Dreamer to Chafford Gorges yet. Are you meeting in the car park?
Kelly, Bill, Billy, Harry and Dreamer. X

Had a great time At Chafford Gorge meeting new people and their dogs. It was a great opportunity for the dogs to socialize (as well as their owners!). Finally got to meet Lurch and catch up with Joe who I walked a few times at Ockendon I believe.
All the dogs were so well behaved (and their owners to some extent!).
Thank you to our honorable leader, Pia, for organizing the walk and ensuring we didn't take any short-cuts but shackling us in a 'chain gang' was unnecessary - only kidding
Looking forward to the next walk which I hope more people will attend.
PS. Ted is 'blotto' having completed the circuit in his usual laid back style as well as ensuring no food was left behind!!!

Thank you to all who attend the walk at Chafford today. Was great to meet and have a chat with fellow Greyhound owners and for the dogs to have a walk and socialise together. All the dogs were very well behaved and enjoyed a paddle in the lake to cool their paws down and of course the Treats which were shared around!
I am looking at making this a monthly event changing the venue for a change of scenery. If anyone has any ideas of places to go for a walk please let me know I am looking at Davy Down and Belhus for the next couple.
Lurch has been sound asleep since I got him home!
Will keep you posted for the next one, date to keep in mind is September 1st as this is one of the Sundays Greyhoundhomer has free.
Pia & Lurch x
