Mary and Bob ....So very very sorry to read this. Alan and I know how you both are feeling, and there are no words of comfort at this time. We know you will miss him dreadfully. Nobody could have given him a better home than you two, or cared for him better, and we were so thankfull to you both for homing him. He had waited so very long, and he had almost shut down when you took him. Since then we have seen him respond to the loving care you have given, and come alive once more, to enjoy the most wonderful two years in your home. I personally will never forget him. He will always have a very special place in my heart. Thank you for taking him home. Run free and young again at Rainbow Bridge Ben xx Hazel

RIP Ben from all in Devon
I remember walking Ben when he came into the kennels at Ockendon he was a favourite with all the walkers. He was a very placid and gentle dog and arrived at the kennels at the age of nine. Bob and Mary kindly took him home because although he was the sort of dog that the first to try him would take him home, his age was against him. A fantastic dog!

Mary, I know you're probably not going to read this but just in case - Ben couldn't have wished for a better home for his twilight years. He was a lovely boy and you and Bob did him proud.
