hey all, poor scamp is poorly i know he isnt a greyhound, but he certainly thinks he is!!! I came home from uni two days ago to find scamp sitting on the floor at the bottom of the stairs holding his paw in the air looing very sorry for himself; I then looked up the stairs and it was like a murder scene!! Laying next to him on the floor was his whole nail from his poorly paw Well mum and dad rushed him to the vets and all they gave him was an injection !! My parents explained that our garden is muddy and that we will clean it gently with salt water but we are worried that it may get an infection.....they said not to worry. Well its 2 days later and his paw is really icky bless him, he cant walk on it at all and is hopping around We have another vets appointment later today at four.....god i hate it when they are in pain :-( bertie giving him a cuddle :-) scamp before his poorly paw (reading homer magazine!) scamp looking pawly :-(

Poor pawly Scamp, I hate it when animals hurt themselves and they can't tell you how they feel. Scamp's lucky coz he's got you and his best friend Bertie looking after him.
Hope it goes well at the Vets this pm

Poor little Scamp, you know how painful it is if you tear a nail. Will the nail grow back like ours do.? Yvonne

Yeah it will, it's gonna take uproar 6weeks togrow back, and the reason it hurts him so much is because his nerve is on show (like when you have a tooth out) how painful must that be? Poor little baby ;D

Would love people to meet them, we just worry that they may get eaten by other dogs who don't like littlens :-)
