hi went weekly shopping thursday in sainburys,got most things but they had sold out of bread,but made sure the dogs and my cat had there food thou. on the down side our car is sick boohoo.my hubby was defosting the car tuesday morning and the next thing there was smoke coming out from the bonnet.lets just say we was lucky and now were are waiting for the car to get fixed. chris n family and lofty and lady

Has anyone been to their local supermarket today? Emma and I went tonight it was weekly shop time. When we got there we found the store had been raided by customers! There was next to no bread, no milk, very few vegetables. I guess people think we're going to get alot of snow tonight \ tomorrow? If that's the case Seaney will be in his element! We went today, and wished we hadn't. Shelves looked like they'd been raided by a plague of locusts. Queues to the tills stretching half way back the store. We came out feeling we'd just wasted an hours of our lives

nobody can hate shopping like me i do as little as possible, one big shop to last me ages, i hate going to the shops and getting pushed and shoved about i would rather go to the kennels and see the dogs.

hi chris i just read your post really quickly and thought it was the cat in trouble(trust me) and had to sit and read it again, thats what happens when you are in a hurry. Hope the CAR is getting sorted

Get your daughter to work in Tescos and then get her to phone the managers of each section getting them t o put aside the stuff you need! Simples! Tchh!

the small shops like murco, spa and little corner shops are all stocked up with milk and bread but the bigger shops like sainsbury's and morrisons are out of them all!!! its snowing here at the moment and is settling :-D hope uni gets cancelled tomorrow!!!
good news about my car though, its working again, looks like it doesnt like the cold to much! (bit like me!)
