Si Sue, must say thanks for having Pixie on your shortlist and not at the top! She is perfec for Sky as she (up till now and at current!) is very calm and docile.. although strikes me as stupid at times (in a nice way of course!)! Couldnt have a mad hound as once Sky finds one to play with well.... that woud be another story and not one I would have wished to live every day at home! lol
Anyway I do hope Nelly has settled well!
Just a short message will do an update soon as at current searching to replace car.. as mine has just sold.. an mgf is just ever so slightly too small for 2 pooches! but I did try to accomodate them!

Hi Carlos
Yes, I remember walking Pixie round the paddock and she was very good and calm on the lead.
Nelly has settled very well, she is more outgoing than Brennan, our other greyhound, but they complement each other well.
We also had to get a bigger car to accomodate them both!! The things we do for those houndies!

Watcha All,
Just to give you an update on Pixies home, well they (Pixie and Sky) both seem to like the new car as they each spread out! unlike the MG! Finally sold again after last posting.. and now full payment taken following a time waster on e-bay who refused to answer e-mails.. let alone purchace car..
All of Skys toys have sadly been moved as Pixie has a passion for anthing manmade, i.e. rubber, tennis balls, latex balls.. so all there is now scattered across the floor are pieces of rope, these seem to last a little longer..
Now and again they have a mad but very noisy few minutes of playtime, consisting of charging after each other...
Her eating habbits have changed, still a food monster, but feeding time with Sky is now no longer a race where her sole mission was to get her face into his bowl barging him out of the way in the process. Athough I still give her food a short time after Sky's so they finish around the same time! Which overall is a good thing and at current works! To add, I can now turn by back (with slight caution not 100%.. yet!) whilst they are both eating without the worry of Pixie taking advantage, which given the chance would still do!
Pixie has been off the lead a couple of times, not in a park though, but on a beach at a secluded place away from temptation of small dogs (not real ones) and other such tasty edible creatures (her words not mine!)..
She is still learning to play on the beach with Sky, and is slowly getting there.. If i can work out how to I will link a video of them on the beach, bearing in mind of course I am no expert in motion film footage (sad I know.. but they are my family! lol)!..
Seeya all..
Me, Sky and Pixie!

They both look like lovely dogs. So pleased that Pixie is settling down well and that Sky has accepted her so readily
