Photos are fine here too. Thanks Patsy (now called Patrick) is not going anywhere - he says!!!!!!!!! Very sad re the "come backs". Taking on an ex racer is very different from bringing an "already been in a home" dog as we are finding out but I have to say it's really rewarding to see the changes in Patrick even after a week. The tail is wagging, he knows exactly when it's breakfast, lunch and dinner times and gets really excited about those times. He squeaks (not quite barks) when he needs the toilet and is beginning to know his name. A real delight. Good luck to the all the houndies who have been rehomed - hope they have found comfy beds too.

I think it is so rewarding taking on an ex racing greyhound, they bud, blossom and bloom. I have found that no two months have been the same with Cass. She has gone from a girl without a lot of personality, who could take or leave other humans, to a dog that gets excited when she sees people she knows and is even at ease with strangers (particularly men). Cass and I have been together 17months and we love each other, but I do wish she didn't have to come and give me kisses at 3 o'clock in the morning!!!! Yvonne

Betty doesn't bark - she's only barked twice since we've had her. Once was at 2 dogs play fighting and the other time was a couple of days ago when I was trying to cook her dinner and doing the hoovering and serveral other things at the same time. I think it was a reminder that her needs were the most important!!

I have heard Cass bark 4 times in the past 17months,two of those occasions were this week. The first time was when I was 1/4 of an hr late with her dinner! The second time was about 2.30 in the morning when she had woken me up wanting to play and I ignored her!!!! Yvonne
